History

Soteira Inc. was incorporated in 2004 with a vision to become a leader in the development and marketing of next generation technologies for the treatment of vertebral compression fractures. Since its inception, Soteira has launched multiple products to advance patient care in the field of osteoporotic bone repair. Soteira will continue to design and develop technologies that will provide physicians with the best possible solutions to fit the individual needs of each fracture and each patient.

In 2008, Soteira Inc. established a subsidiary company, Soteira GmbH, to lead the company’s European commercialization efforts. Sotiera GmbH currently manages distribution of the Soteira products in Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Austria.
